Hey babes! I have become kinda obsessed with Acai Bowls…they are so delicious, good for you and keep you full for hours! I decided to try one after seeing tons of bloggers posting them on Instagram and after one try at my local juice shop, Liquidtera in New York I was hooked. However at $9 a bowl its not the most cost effective breakfast, so I did some research and came up with a more cost effective option. I found the acai smoothie packs at Whole Foods for $4.99 from Sambazon. It come with 4 packets but you will need 2 packets two make one bowl. I added toasted coconut instead of granola because I am a coconut freak! Ok loves recipe below!
Toasted Coconut Acai Bowl
2 Sambazon Acai Smoothie Packs
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup blueberries
In a food processor pulse almonds and 1/4 cup of coconut until crumbly like texture above. Place on the bottom of your bowl.
Place smoothie packs and 1/2 banana in a blender and pulse until mixture is combined. Mixture will be thick, pour on top of nut layer.
Toast the remaining coconut under broiler watching carefully about 2 minutes. Top Acai layer with toasted coconut and then add sliced strawberries, bananas and blueberries. This is heavenly seems like dessert for breakfast! Enjoy
I just wanted to put up a quick post sorry for some of the blurry pics! But this weekend my daughter and I had a night out in suburbia! Yonkers Ridge hill is a new shopping plaza with a bunch of outdoor stores like Sepora, H&M and Express. We decided to pick up dinner at The Cheesecake Factory…yum! They have a new skinny menu which has a great variety… So you can splurge on some dessert ;-) I wore these floral H&M chiffon shorts and Wet Seal black crop top, #vintage black drawstring Gucci bag (i put a more affordable option up in the find it post!) I think I am most excited about my new sandals, I have been lusting over the Isabel Marant studded sandals since last summer! I couldn’t stomach the $1000 price tag so when I found this similar style at Urban Outfitters on sale for $19.99! I had to purchase on site! They are “WeWho See Juno Ankle cuff” sandal and also come in a natural shade. Hope this helps loves!

Banana Bread Blondies
I found this recipe on Instagram -username @karina_liberation and they were such a hit I decided to repost. She has tons of healthy sweets and clean eating recipes, check her out. Below is her recipe, This is tested and approved by me!
2 ripe medium/large bananas
1 3/4 cups rolled oats
1 can chick peas – (Approx 1 1/2 cups drained and rinsed)
2 tablespoons (30g) Peanut Butter (I used Peanut Butter & Co. The Bees Knees)
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons (30g) honey
4 tablespoons Natvia granulated sweetener
pinch of salt
1/2 cup low fat milk
1/4 cup (50g) semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven 200C | 390F. Spray a 8×8 inch baking pan with cooking spray and put aside.
Throw ALL ingredients (except chocolate chips) into a food processor and blend until smooth. Fold half the chocolate chips into the batter. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top of bars. Bake for approx 20 minutes (depending on your oven) until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. They are VERY moist when taken out, but they will set and firm as they cool! Don’t over cook these – or they will become dry.
Once cooled, gently cut into 16 bars.

This post is special I have been wanting to do a picnic with my boyfriend for the longest time! We just never had it come to reality but he picked the perfect spot! Glen Island Park in Westchester County in New York it came complete with a castle none the less. We went right around sunset and packed a delicious no fuss lunch in this adorable basket I found at Target. The basket came complete with wine glasses, plates and silver ware, just perfect! I made my white citrus sangria (recipe on an earlier post) I wanted my look to be easy breezy but romantic, so I paired a floral sundress -TJ Maxx, a jean jacket -H&M, Hobo bag-JustFab and a vintage ring I picked up back in Florida. The park was magical and our sunset picnic was sublime! I hope you guys get to visit this mystical park one day! xxoo MN
In the Nude
This look was all inspired by a pair of blush nude pumps, I have been lusting after the perfect tone, shape and heel height and finally I found a pair on Zappos from Charles David “pact”. The skirt I picked up at Zara in a peachy nude, and a blush copper purse I found on sale at Forever 21, I picked up the statement necklace at a vintage store in Brooklyn. Nude tones are a fresh take on summer apparel. I hope this inspires you to dress in the nude ;-) xxoo MN
